The crown.
This is row 7, the knit/rest row before the increase from 24 stitches to 32.
As the hat grows, the mitre join becomes more noticeable. Right now it looks almost chaotic.
It's about here that I have historically given up on many hat attempts due to missing a kfab, or dropping a stitch.

Warm fuzzy company.
I have finished the increases, and on the head it will look less pointy.

Yep.. it's the fiddly bit. I like to use a traveling loop arrangement, and it frees me up to use an ultra long cable. Here I'm using Knitpro short tips, and a 1m line.
