What to make by inheriting the image from Michelle.

This is the first ‘Creative collab eri and Michelle’.
We have made patterns together so far, but this shawl was exactly made by two people.
Michelle sent me the her image and a adorable shawl drawing.
It was a triangular shawl inspired by flowers.
It was the first triangle shawl for me.
She told me about her image and shape. I was very fun expressing it with knitting.
We live far away but have the same shawl.
I have Haru.
And Michelle has Koharu.

It will sold as a kit with 3 skeins for knitting this shawl, an adorable box, and a project bag with the same picture.

Haru Koharu – Spring and Late Summer
A creative collaboration between Eri @eritml and Michelle, bringing you the beautiful twin shawls Haru and Koharu. Symbolic for the creative friendship between Michelle and Eri. Pictured here is Koharu. On Eri’s feed you will find Haru.
Haru Koharu will be sold in an exclusive gift box. The pattern will only be available in printed version in the kit. Each kit will consist of 3 skeins of Fingering weight yarn, a printed pattern and a printed project tote bag. The whimsical hanging Whisteria illustration was made exclusively for Haru Koharu by @k.a.r.o.l.inka
The kits will be available from selected stores from March. Pre orders will be taken till end December. We will list stores in a following mail.
これははじめての ‘Creative collab eri and Michelle’です。
わたしたちはいままでも一緒に作ってきましたが、このショールはまさにふたりで作ったものとなりました。
ミシェルはわたしに彼女の持つイメージと一緒に愛らしいショールの絵を送ってくれました。
それは花をイメージした三角形のショールでした。
そしてそれはわたしにとって初めて作る三角形のショールとなりました。
彼女がイメージや形、そして色を提案し、そしてわたしがそれを引き継いで編む。とても楽しい作業でした。
みどり～ぴんく～ばにらの色を見て、
上から下に花が咲くそんなイメージにしたいと思い、ステッチを選びました。
サンプル用に一枚薄い色で編み、そして、彼女をびっくりさせたくて、もう一枚濃い色で編み、オランダに送りました。
わたしたちはそれぞれ遠い場所で離れているけれど、
私の手元には写真のHaruが、
彼女の手元にはKoharuがあります。
英語が下手でも、住む環境が全然違っても、気持ちを伝え合うことができるんだと彼女に出会って知りました。

ミシェルはずっと愛らしい糸を特別な箱に入れてキットにしたいというかわいい夢を持っていました。
そして、今回それがいよいよ実現することとなり、ショールを編むための3カセと、そして、二枚目の写真にある絵のついた箱、そしてプロジェクトバッグのキットが3月にリリースされます。
日本のお店でもお取り扱いをいただくのですが、今月から予約が開始されます。詳細については今後KOKONがポストする予定です。
