CO 89 sts in US5 needle. 8 rows 1x1 rib before stockinette.
Picked up 52 stitches for neck base. Did not do the neckband with button.

Purl Soho tiny tassel for the top, picked up stitches for 3-stitch I-cord on each side of chin, finished off each I-cord tie with another tiny tassel.

Needs a blocking but it fits my 1.5 year old well with room to grow. Could stand to be even a little deeper (by adding more stockinette rows).

Very cute, very easy, quick (approx 6 hours total, likely less).
