Notes

3 knit rows at beginning and end for garter border
2-stitch garter border each row beginning & end
setup row: k3, [k6, p2]x2, k6, k3

knit back and forth in pattern, doing C6Front in the k6 columns, pairing the 2 outer columns & doing the inner on different rows. cross cables randomly, for a varied look, but keep the outer columns paired for symmetry.

used 1 entire skein for this, and plan to do a pair of gloves and/or hat with the second.

I love the way the pooling turned out in this! it alternates back and forth between a pink-and-blue base and a purple-and-yellow one, so I’ll have a PB inner cable with PY paired outer cables for 6 or 8 rows, then it’ll switch. :) (And yes, I know, the crazy colors seriously drown out the cabling when seen head-on, but they add nice texture AND make it much more fun to knit!)
