Nice and fun project!
Mine is a skinny scarf version (approx 12 cm/ 140 cm).
Using unbranded vintage mohair from my mother’s stash. The label is missing, but it is probably a DK wool & mohair blend. My gauge was way different than the recommended one.

Scarf: Cast On 9 sts.
Only 6 increases on each 14th row. Same number of decreases.
47 g.

Hat: German CO 62 sts.

Weaving in ends in Brioche stitch.
