The original pattern makes the spaces a solid color. I opted to alternate the yarns. I like the way it looks!

For the color section I took the variegated yarn I had and cut the yarn sections in order to make certain each section was a solid color for each. I didn’t like the way it looked when I tried to let the variegations follow as the skein pleased. I think it turned out better like this!
