I purchased the larke DK set from Yarnaceous - I have sooo much left of most of the colors! I opted not to use the grey for this cowl.

I have a large stitch gauge but a short row gauge, so I sized my needles down and added an extra chart to the base cowl pattern.

• In the spaceships section I used traditional floats and skipped the lighter-color inbetween the beams and duplicate-stitched them on later.
• For the rest of the cowl, I used a lot of jacquard ladders.
• For the planet, I knit in the lighter pink and duplicate-stitched the white and darker pink over.
• For the sparkles between planets, I duplicate stitched the darker pink over parts of the lighter pink.
