The two yarns I picked out for this pattern looked really pretty together in the store, but, having finished the first repeat of the design, I’m seeing that the cc is too close to the mc to stand out. I’m going to get another color; hopefully, I’ll be using the same mc so I’ll only have to go back to the beginning of the colorwork.

Doing the cuff with 2 dpns, and the body with 4 (this makes it easier to keep track of where I am in the pattern).

UPDATE: The new cc I picked out actually went better with another, similar color to the ones I already had, so I completely restarted. Coming along, though!

UPDATE 2: Finished the first mitt a while ago; might redo the thumb depending on how the second one works out. Almost done with the second; it turned out tighter this time, but hopefully, it’s not too noticable… Or it’ll stretch.
