Mum and I made this together over the 2022 - 2023 Christmas period. We used scrap yarn and one purchased ball of cream. The pattern calls for sock yarn, but we used DK. Mum used a size 2.5mm hook, and I used a 3mm, to adjust for our different tensions. We cleaned fine gravel nicked from dad’s hydroponic veggie garden to make a small weighted bag to balance Nellie out. It was about 120g of gravel, but 140-150g would have been better.
