Just mindless enough to bring me back into knitting after a six month hiatus…

I must say this yarn feels softer in the skein but I still like the way it looks.

My other current project is in lace weight Merino - progress is slow, so having this simple east pattern is a nice change. Also, I haven’t ever knitted a “kerchief” or shawlette before - I tried the aesthlight shawl once, but I missed the lace and never could figure out my mistake so it has been unfinished for at least two years now.

This is knitting up so fast it is giving me exactly what I need, and the color changes in this yarn are beautiful. Again, not as soft as I would have thought, but beautiful (and discontinued).

Project only had such a large completion time because I didn’t consider it finished until I finally got around to blocking it. Blocking is magic!
