Wow - this is the fastest pair of socks I have ever knitted.

Thursday: Got my first sock kit for 2013 sock club!! I LOVE the theme, as Portland is one of my favorite places on earth, and the Pearl District is my favorite part of Portland… Can hardly wait to get started.

Friday: Cast on for ladies medium and realized as soon as I was 20 rows in - switched to ladies small, and went down a needle size.

Saturday: Finished the legs, and I’m ready to start the heel flaps. I have not worked a top down pair of socks since my first couple of pairs, and I haven’t done heel flaps in years. I am going to have to think about how to keep track of the gussets doing them two at a time…

Sunday: Ok - screwed up the gussets. This pattern is NOT written to be two-at-a-time on a single circular friendly. Ended up ripping out back to the heel flap and working the gussets separately with DPN’s, then knitting them back on to the circular once the gussets were done.

Monday: Working today, so not much time to knit. Zooming right along though. These should be finished right quick.

Tuesday: Brought them in to work with me and knitting on them between tasks. Super quick pattern!

Thursday: Finished! This is absolutely the fastest pair of socks I have ever knit, even knitting the gussets twice on one sock. I will wait for the next kit before I post all the photos, but here is one teaser…
