I’m trying my first toe-up socks. Dad requested knee-high socks to go under his boots, so in case there were fit issues on the leg, I thought toe-up would be a better construction method.

I’m not following any particular pattern, but just referencing sources for methods for toes and heels and just doing the math for a good fit myself.

I decided to do Judy’s magic cast on and short row toe for the toe construction. I have also decided carry a reenforcement thread for the toe and heel to add some sturdiness.
