Buttons handmade by Baxter’s co-parent out of ebony!

I adapted the pattern at http://blog.loveknitting.com/knit-with-alice-the-juno-jum... in many ways:

• allover stitch pattern is Embossed Check Stitch from http://www.dailyknitter.com/blog/stitch-of-the-week-embos...
• added a button placket & line of buttons down the back (buttons handmade by my partner)
• changed chest increases to to lines down the front corners of the chest instead of the single line down the center
• added short rows in the chest to fit the dachshund shape better
• changed the stitch/row counts all over to fit
• continued sweater down the back rather than ending at the tummy bind-off
