I had this lying around for about a week or so before I finally got to weaving in the ends. There were many.

I’m overall pretty happy with this project. The mosaic slip stitch pattern kept things engaging for me, with the changing colors with the Manos Del Uruguay Marina in the Nostalgia colorway. I sorta regret not using a more saturated olive (this green leans more chartreuse) as the CC2 but I think it still works.

I do like the effect of holding the variegated yarn double. I am now on the hunt for more variegated lace yarn since I kinda want to make another.

The only PITA was dropping the twisted stitch a few times and I either had to frog back a bit or live with my ham-handed efforts to reverse engineer.

I added short rows based on this Ravelry user’s notes, which were so helpful since it was only my second time doing short rows. Definitely have a much better grasp now. The only difference is that I used Japanese short rows since I didn’t really like the look of the wrap and turns. For the back, I added the a few short rows (3?) but in the neck ribbing.

I also used a provisional cast-on to start, since I am long of torso and wanted to add length if needed, since it’s bottom-up. That was a bit of an adventure, since I used white dental floss. (Next time, choose a color that doesn’t match the yarn.)

I like the fit a lot! Pretty pleased with how this came out.

This project lasted: all 15 seasons of Supernatural, five seasons of The Magicians, a trip to the Catskills and briefly interrupted by a move.
