Have been wanting to try knitting ornaments for years now. Finally getting around to trying it. Varied original pattern with striped top/bottom and MM head center as seen in chart in bottom photo. Filled with polyester filling before sewing up with Kitchener stitch and finishing with 3-stitch I-cord (loop).

CO 3 with US1 DPN. Joined and picked up loop from row below for all M1 increases. Used K2TOG for all decreases. Made 7 Forest/Ivory, 3 Forest/Limeade, 1 Forest/Red, & 1 Red/Ivory (not photographed).

In 2018, made 3 more in blue & white.
