Notes

Sept 23 - On the home stretch now, the I-cord bind off is about half done. This second moebius has been much faster and easier, the Cascade 220, marled black and bluegrey, does contrast with the Noro, as I’d hoped. More subtle than the previous one, but definitely visible. I used all the Silk garden, but only a small amount of the Kureyon, if I’d made the cowl just a bit narrower, I could have only used the one ball of yarn, and a modest amount of leftover yarns.

Sept 20 - Did the cast on for this last night, after all I must have a handwork project for my transit time. WHAT a difference from the previous one! The only thing changed is the yarn. (I’ve decided that Chirimen really is a pain to work with, though it might be a bit easier not knit in the round) The Silk Garden though nowhere near as soft, is quite amenable to being knit, not requiring the constant fussing after almost every stitch that Chirimen did. I can just knit around and around mindlessly (at least until I get to the fairisle rows), which is ideal for riding the bus.
