The colors in this indie dyed, speckled yarn grabbed me. It reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, so I wanted to make something dreamy out of it. After swatching lots of different stitch patterns, a bias knit combination of Seed stitch with an adaptation of Feather & Fan stood out. I added a very fine thread of mohair in alternating sections to give it an extra touch of magic.

I really wanted there to be tassels on the points but when I got to the end there was very little yarn left. So I split the remaining yarn in half and managed to make 2 decent sized tassels. When writing the instructions I assumed that other knitters may run into the same issue, so I explained how to make the tassels like I did, with just a small amount of yarn.
