Notes

Started with a 3 stitches I-Cord, increased to 96 stitches in 8 rounds (1 round increase kfb, 1 round knit all stitches).
When it looked long enough (approx 9-10 cms) worked approx 4 cm in 2x2 rib with smaller needles.
