The way this pattern is shaped is excellent. Knit both budgies in a day. The embroidered beaks took the longest - I am NOT skilled at embroidery.

Used various yarns, one strand of DK weight and one strand of silk/mohair. Embroidered the beak with four strands embroidery floss to get the right amount of bulk.
