I purchased 2 packages of 2.5” craft foam eggs at Hobby Lobby so that I could make 8 eggs for my tree. Instead of using crochet thread, I used DMC embroidery floss as that is what I had on hand, plus the floss has such sheen and bright colors. I only had a 1.8mm crochet hook and used that as it was close enough. I found the little tree at Goodwill for $.99, thought it was perfect to display my eggs for Spring!
