Doing this for #NaKniSweMo. CO 120sts. Knit to rd 23 last night. This morning: divided for sleeves and am going to follow Roko’s mods for her Date Night 2

So, a little disappointed in the yarn, as 2 of 4 strands are currently longer than other two… so I have this loop that I have to keep moving when I pull more yarn out of the cake. Hoping this resolves itself…
Aside from that, I’ve knit 5920 sts so far; yoke done, dividing sleeves done, started lower body. Glad I’m using 4mm needle, as it seems the sleeves will not be too tight (as others had complained). Thinking I might have to do more Rd 1-8 repeats than Roko because she knit hers on 5mm needles. We shall see.

after dividing for sleeves and knitting 9 repeats of rows 1-8 for the body, I put the live stitches on scrap yarn and tried this on. Too tight! So frogged everything, dug out some 5mm needles and cast on again.

Did 7 repeats of rows 1-8; 4 repeats of 16-25; and so far w repeats of 26-37… considering leaving it at that.

Btw, the loop in the yarn did not resolve itself, but there is a knot in the yarn whenever there is a color change so i just made a knot and snipped off the excess threads.

When Roko says 5mm needles… she means 5mm needles. It fits! The sleeves are just right!
Ended up with the following repeats:
7x 1-8
4x 16-25
5x 26-37

it is now drying and I will take pictures of it on me tomorrow.

one final note: I kinda wish I had set aside some of the first color to make the sleeves with later… you live you learn.
