gotta hurry: it is getting cold fast and the munchkin keeps growing.

knit in round until armholes. knit sleeves in round too (from top down… so instead of increasing i decreased). because i do not like to purl and the striping from the yarn isn’t different on front and back (except at the very top, where it fortunately turned out very similar).

made this a little longer than pattern calls for, just to cover M’s butt. also made sleeves longer than called for because rolling them up is just easier than trying to figure out whether they’re long enough before binding off. good thing too, because these modifications make the sweater fit her better… i don’t have to constantly pull it down and her arms are a little longer than the pattern called for.

the hat in the other picture is the smallest size of Punk’s Not Dead knit on slightly smaller needles.
