Notes

I really wanted something soft and fuzzy and I love pink so I spent way too much on this blended Louisa Harding yarn. I could’ve purchased this for WAY less online, but oh well, I like supporting my local yarn store. I spent a couple days prowling Ravelry for a pattern to use it with. To show off the halo I wanted something pretty flat with no lace or detailing and so far Station Hat is working really well and its simplicity and natural but interesting shaping work perfectly with the super soft, light quality of this angora yarn. You could really use any fine to worsted weight yarn for this pattern and it would turn out great! For anyone having trouble with the wrapping technique, here’s a video that might help you out, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAc24nNf92o. You only have to do the wrap once unlike in the video which is for garter stitch in the round. Oh and I did the swirl crown.

04/30 - love this hat so much i made another one in blue.
