60 Quick Baby Knits is easily becoming my go-to for baby patterns. And seeing as EVERYONE is having a baby, it’s a good thing to have (or have borrowed from my mom).

The good news is it’s super fun to knit for the littles and often super quick! This dress is for Charlie. She’s not even 3 months and the pattern starts at 12 months so a few modifications were necessary. When are they not.

I decided to shoot for something in the 3-6 month range. The pattern called for size 7 needles and Cascade 220. I went with size 5 needles and Fiesta Baby Boom. Looks pretty on point to me and I’ll upload pics of Charlie when I get them.

I love the smocking stitch, super easy with great results. And the flare is fun. Most of all I love the colorway of the yarn, it’s girlie without being too girlie - which is just what I imagine Charlie will be :)
