Dyed this gradient on 5 Ply Silk/Merino/Bamboo my favourite yarn for shawls

found these notes from Cable Sheep so following her increase technique

Started with m1l and m1r increases but after reading lots of others project details decided to go with kfb instead

Double inc: k1, kfb, kfb, k to last 4 st, kfb, kfb, k2
Single inc: k1, kfb, k to last 3 st, kfb, k2

Happy when I finally got to the stripey section
using Carina Spencer ‘s twisted edge

gosh I’m not really a fan of long long oh so long rows of garter,only the anticipaton of the next colour change in my gradient keeps me going

dyed a dark grey for the second contrast color will start tonight the short rows

26/6 started finally my short rows as I had to wait for my dark grey yarn to be dry..yeah didn’t know that short rows can be so easy

section 3 has used 80 gm of the gradient, 35 gm of C2 but I decided I want the last colours of the gradient in my shawl so I just started the last section with two more stripes of C1 and C2

OMG these rows are long and my shawl is a monster now. Will finish of with Jennys Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off….hopefully will BO tomorrow!

BO and DONE !! Yeah now to block this giant!

When I knitted this I knew what I would be offering next at Wooltopia, Color affection shawl kits… a main colour, a gradient and another contrast colour…:)
