My first socks. I should have chosen an easier and better explained pattern (no instructions are given for the decreases other than referring to mute videos), but because it’s such a nice design, I’m pleased with the result. I need to learn how to really knit socks, though, and now I can add to my list of knitting addictions sock knitting.

Mods: I made size 39-40 to make up for the fact that I was using a smaller needle size, and in this size the ankle design isn’t centered with the foot one. So, after chart A2 I moved the beginning of round by 5 stitches, which did the trick.

There are odd adjustments of the total number of stitches in the ankle part, to accommodate for the different designs - sadly, they’re visible even after blocking, and make the fabric around the ankle rather uneven.

Make all decreases with the white yarn, disregarding the design pattern.

It was my first time using sock yarn (superwash, 25% acrylic), and I hated working with Fabel at first - it really doesn’t feel very nice.
