Vests: i co 60 st used a tubular cast on; knit garter st for a 1-2”, then used a mock brioche st for the gray vest, and a fluffy brioche st for the green vest.
- the buttons are crocheted in silver.

Sack: i follow the pattern except i rounded the end, making it more hat-like instead of flat bottom like the pattern. i co 72 st using a tubular cast on. i did a 1x1 rib in silver for ~4” then switched to a 3-color stockinette brioche st., when i ran out of silver i switched to 2-color stock. brioche st.

Hat: co 56 st using a tubular cast on knit 1x1 rib for ~2” stitched to fluffy brioche in the round until the overall length was 3.5” decreased according to the pattern.

Mittens: these are done tip down. i co 8 st using judy’s magic cast on, increased on the sides 2 each row until i had 18 st. i knit for ~2-3” then switched to 1x1 rib for another ~2-3” bo using a tubular/invisible bind off.

Mock Brioche: multiples of 4 then add 2
-Row 1: k3, p1tbl to last two stitches, k2

-Row 2: p1tbl, k3,p1tbl to last stitch, k1
note: p1tbl = purl 1 through back loop. this creates an added twist but can be a regular purl.
