My mum knitted this sweater for me 1958, when we moved from Finland to Sweden. I was 14. Last year I tried to find the pattern and started at a museum site. I found old Patterns, but also a new updated version. I had Novita sointu in grey and white and Karisma in green. Then I dyed Sointu in red and yellow.
Adviced by the Bohus designer Kerstin Olsson I made the red triangles in the yoke smaller than in the new pattern, as she said they were in my old sweater.
