Boobalicious:
the photo of the back in the book (tiny photo) does not match up with pattern instructions. I contacted Mandy Moore the editor and she said to follow the instructions as written; the photo of the back was wrong, it was an earlier version. So the back is nearly all seed stitch but it is a very ingenious and interesting design.

I’m going to try working this in the round, as one piece up to the armholes
i might try knitting the back in stockinette, leaving the seed stitch for the top panel only (like the incorrect picture)
CO 170 sts for front, 170 sts for back

so very confused
am going to try just knitting two front panels, in the round, complete with panel shaping

to make the body longer, after the seed stitch border
i added 10 rows with the stockinette/seed stitch panels - no shaping
