Note: if I want to make the arm shorter next time, only work 1 repeat of the first chart before starting the thumb gusset chart. Also, unlike in first pair of Endpapers, I’m casting on the contrasting colours for the first 2 sts of the thumb, then backwards cast on for the final 3 sts of the thumb.

Jun 3/23: c.o. for these yesterday and made it 1-1/2 repeats into the chart.

Jun 4/23: completed knitting everything on the first mitten yesterday but the thumb. Started that this morning. Update: first mitten done, have begun ribbing for second. Used up 15g yellow, 12g purple for first mitten.

Jun 5/23: was able to complete both arm repeats of the second mitten last night, which means I start with the thumb gusset chart today.

Jun 6/23: started the thumb yesterday and realized I hadn’t c.o. the last 3 sts for it, throwing off my width. Tinked down to round 1 and dropped a st, so I put a marker in it and called it a night. Update: all done! Will block tonight.
