Apr 11/16: c.o. today. Glad to have found a use for my poor, single skein of Pima Cotton. So far, so good!

Apr 13/16: I’ve been blitzing through this project, partly because it’s being a total cow. Working cotton on the Karbonz circs sucks -- no matter what I do, I snag on the join. My only reprieve comes from when I switch to my Addis (which, fortunately, comprises the remainder of the project). I ended up having to progress by working top-down from the collar, setting aside the torso on waste yarn, finishing the sleeves, then casting on and working bottom-up. Fortunately, the Millefili Fine is the same weight as the Pima Cotton, so the lack of the latter is being made up for with the former. I’m going to have to graft the two pieces together when the golden section is done.

Apr 14/16: blocking now! Update: unblocked photo up.

Apr 15/16: was actually able to get this out in the sun for a bit of drying-time today! How exciting! Still not fully dry, ‘though. Yay, cotton.

Apr 17/16: this was dry yesterday and I sewed on the buttons last night. It should be in the mail tomorrow!

Apr 28/16: got a email expressing gratitude yesterday, plus that beautiful smile to light up my inbox. Looks like the sweater’s still a bit big for him, but that works out well -- durn kids grow like weeds!
