July 21st: finished! love it!! pictures will follow after washing/blocking

the pattern is well written and easy to follow.
I worked the instructions for 52-54 with finer yarn and smaller hook to get size 48-50 and did only a few modifications:

• while working the fronts I closed the side seams row by row with a slip stitch to get a nice and flat, nearly unnoticable seam
• had to lengthen the sleeves. the original length ended at the widest point of my underarm, that is very unflattering :)
• did not like the idea of a ribbon piece behind the buttons, but know that there is a need for support. so I worked 6 sc in a yarn ring and doubled the stitches in a second row, than fasten off. these small dots were sewn to the wrong side, than I sew on the buttons. its a little thicker than grosgrain ribbon, but its nearly invisible.

July 20th: nearly finished - have to close the second sleeve seam, crochet the edge and hide some ends.
I think about to add a purple part on the sleeves, too, because the lenght of the sleeves does not flatter me. Found some nice buttons. And: the new shoes will look great with this cardigan, too! :)

July 16th: separated for the fronts - its growing so fast! the fabric is soft and I really like the color effect now

July 15th: worked sleeve increases for the back

July 12th: started Amimono Kimono. Because I have only 10 balls of green I added a deep purple at the lower part.

did not like the self-striping effect of the variageted yarn - should have used 2 balls alternating. so I frogged it.
