edit July 30 - today my 10-year old niece took some shots of “me and cloud chaser” - but only one is usable (not good, but usable). I will change it in fall. Even today it was way to warm for this snuggly piece :)
Isn´t it beautiful?!?! But its much too hot to take modeled pictures in the moment.
I love it. The yarn is yummy and the pattern was easy to follow (and easy to adjust, too).
Two weeks ago my friend and I were window shopping and what should I say - the shoes were on sale! Wouldn´t you have bought them, too? :D
July 7: finished!!! will add pictures after washing and blocking
June 29: finished left front today
June 27: back and right front are finished. Can´t let my hands off this yarn! :D
June 25: back to the start
because I knit much thighter on the large piece than on the swatch I have to go one needles size up. and knowing about the 6 extra stitches I only measured high until the armholes. ripped back down to the ribbed band.because of the bigger needles I can follow now all given numbers and instructions for my size (except lenght, will add 2 inches before armholes)
about the yarn: love it! it is soft and has a nice halo. and nearly no memory, so it is no problem to knit with the ripped yarn without washing it first
June 23: start
modifications so far:
- added 6 stitches to the given number for my size, because I was slightly off gauge in width
- mirrored row 7 in chart B
- worked the decreases between chart A and B as k2tog and ssk on both sides, because I added each 2 of the additional stitches in these colums and did not like the look of the way to decrease given in the pattern
- added about 2,5 inch in length before the armholes
