I started to knit this shawl years ago. There are exactly 54 rows to knit, then it would be finished. But there are about 800 stitches in one row and four more are to add each other row….

The pattern is my own, started with a triangle of birdseye-pattern and added the border of an Erich Engeln tablecloth-pattern.
