yarn information:
ONLine Linie 275 “Meloa”, 50 g / 105 m, 59 % cotton, 41 % viscose

DRAMA!! when the body was at just 4 rows above the lace border the cable lost connection to the screw part….. and about 2/3 of 434 stitches slide off the cable. i was near tears.
the yarn is slippery because of the high viscose content. and i had knitted up nearly 200g. this two facts together caused that lots of stitches raveled down several rows. after 2 1/2 hours a gave up and stored the complete mess in a bag. and started with the sleeves. i will have to start the body from the beginning. §&§%§(§/“)=(!!!

… i could´nt bear myself to cast on over 400 stitches again and decided to knit it in pieces. when the back was finished i decided to modify the pattern from a wrap to a simple cardigan. i am happy with the result - pictures after washing!
