July 30: 45 demi-hex 1 are finished, 1 demi-hex 2 finished
August 02: 6 demi-hex 2 and 1 demi-hex 3 finished
August 04: 2nd demi-hex 3 finished
August 11: 3rd demi-hex 3 finished (2 more are needed)
August 12: 4th demi-hex 3 is not finished, but I read through the instructions for the last part and there is an error (I think).
The instruction for “4 (almost) hex” calls for Rep rows 3-10, 2 times more - 462 stitches. But on the photo it is clearly to see that the rows 3-10 have to be repeated 3 times more (for 4 lace-ridges total). In this case it should be 432 stitches before the stockinette part. I sent an e-mail to Berroco in this case and wait for answer.
wow - the Berroco designer team is working fast! The answer came within one hour! And I was right, it should be rep 3 times. Correction will be postet on the Berroco errata page.
In the meantime the 4th demi-hex 3 is finished :)
August 17: finished the last demi-hex 3 today and picked up the stitches for the last part. and now this will rest for a few days - I really have to knit on the coat
August 28 (could not sleep and get up at 03.15 a.m., may be its pre-senile insomnia? g): finished at 06.57 a.m.! its huge. its gorgeous. ITS MINE!!!
