when I was at the weekly “knitting meeting” at my lys last thursday, the postman brought some sample skeins of the new OnLine yarns they ordered for the next season. and I will knit the samples!
its always a pleasure to test the new yarns, this time i fell in love immediately with “faro” (its the only skein which has full information on it, all the others have only a number in the moment)
i made two pics of each newbie, one of the swatch and one of a piece of yarn, where i wrote the number on.
Linie 264 - information will be added later
knitted with 7,0 mm needels
Linie 272 - information will be added later
knitted with 5,0 mm needles
one skein was enough for this little scarf (65 x 15 cm)
Linie 270 “Faro”
60 % Merino/40 % Polyacryl, 80 m/50g, suggested needle size 4,5-5,5 mm, machine washable
this is my favorite! the yarn is made of three 3-plyed threads, which makes an unusual look of the yarn and i think this will help to avoid pilling. very nice stitch definition! the swatch is knitted with needles 5,0 mm
Linie 266 - information will be added later
knitted on needles 5,0 mm
Linie 268 - information will be added later
knitted on needles 10,0 mm
Linie 265 - information will be added later
knitted on needles 6,0 mm, one skein was enough to make a nice cowl
Linie 267 - information will be added later
knitted on needles 10,0 mm
