Notes

A really enjoyable (test)knit.

Thank you, Kathryn. blush

Enough interest not to be dull but easy enough to be relaxing and suitable for TV watching.

Unlike some other testers, I didn’t get to the point where the pattern was completely intuitive. Instead, I found my knitting easy to read and a row counter meant I could keep track easily.

I used the written instructions but there is a chart too.

I worked an extra pattern repeat because, otherwise, I was going to break into the 7th hank/skein halfway through the border. I used 355g in total and have 23g of yarn left - not enough for another pattern repeat.

The yarn was new to me and I was surprised by how soft - with a hint of silkiness - it was. It has a lovely shine too.

I’d definitely use it again.

A word of caution though…the water was very green when I gave this a soak (in Eucalan) before blocking.
