A few weeks ago I was visiting Dublin, and I went to This is Knit for a little pilgrimage (I studied at TCD for a bit, joined the university Knitting Association and I used to buy my yarn there, I made a pair of mitts back in 2010 and they are still great !). I stumbled upon their version of the pattern and I bought 2 skeins of Townhouse Yarns Poolberg (and a third one for another project, maybe some mitts ?). I bought the same color, and I used about 1 1/2 skeins so I have to figure out what I’ll do with the rest.

I really liked the pattern, and the yarn, they really compliment each other in my opinion.

I plan on gifting it to my sister-in-law, she has beautiful blue eyes and I think the color of the yarn will really make them pop.
