I casted on this project during our beatiful trip to Latvia and Estonia in May this year.
This yarn reminds me of lilacs, which then flourished in huge quantities. From now blooming lilacs are for me a symbol of Estonia even more than Haapsalu shawls ;)

The pattern is absolutely stunning! Excellent idea, great construction, perfect shape of finished garment! I’m already planning on knitting it again in a different colorway and yarn. It will be a long-sleeved version.

My mods:

• simply K2 instead mock cables shoulder/sleeves seam;
• M1R and M1L instead M1R (purl) and M1L (purl); purled this stitches only in the next round;
• elastic BO on the bottom edge
