Notes

Knit for my work-friend’s baby. A quick little noggin cover for a cute little porkchop.

Every other row, increase 8 stitches evenly by tossing on a backwards loop (a la EZ). Pattern looks like this:

CO 8 onto two circular needles (or magic loop or dpns), knit first row joining in the round.

Row 2: * K1, Increase 1 *

Row 3: Knit

Row 4: * K2, Increase 1 *

Row 5: Knit

Row 6: * K3, Increase 1 *

etc, etc until you have the number of stitches you want on the needles (divisible by 8, obviously). I increased until I had 104, which means that on my last row I K13, Inc 1 all the way around the row. Then I knit plain until time for ribbing. Decreased 10% of stitches. K2,P2 ribbing for an inch. BO. I did not bind off in pattern, because i prefer how it looks with just a regular bind-off.

Knit while watching/listening to:

House, aka The Hugh Laurie Show
Fringe, aka The John Noble Show
