Notes

8 April: Two repeats of the pattern, and i’ve already had to tink it. Someday, friends, i will learn to read the pattern completely before going about my merry knitting.

That said, this yarn is amazing. This pattern is wonderful. I don’t mind starting over. Much.

Pros of starting over: have made a much better conversion of the pattern from 4 DPNs to 2 circulars. This modification will allow me to already have the correct stitches for the heel on one needle while still maintaining the cable pattern correctly. I could pretend complex mathematical formulas were needed to do this, but anyone who knows me would laugh too hard. :P

29 April 2009: Really love this pattern tons and tons. It is lovely and fun to knit without being so difficult as to not be able to knit it while talking or listening to audiobooks. Which reminds me…

Knit while listening to the following audiobooks:

Drowned Wednesday, by Garth Nix
Ghosthunters, by Cornelia Funke
Skulduggery Pleasant, by Derek Landy
