Notes

I’m working on an easier way of making the breast form, so please be patient.

It takes less than one skein, way less. I’m working on the pattern now. It is very light weight so it won’t cause sweating, handwash, air dry, I filled with polyester fiber fill. I didn’t add weights but if you wanted a heavier insert you could add a weight of some type. I will ask my sister how well this works. She has tried all kinds of things and has resorted to using socks. I want to find a comfortable way to replace the stuffing once it loses shape. It isn’t expensive to make though, and works up very fast. One could emphasis the nipple if they wanted. Pattern could be easily modified for any size insert from an A to whatever. Most of the form is knitted but I plan to crochet the base as I feel this would be more comfortable on the skin and would sew nicely to the bottom.
If anyone is interested I will post the pattern. This would be nice to use while waiting for reconstruction or is you don’t want reconstruction.
