Second time knitting this lovely pattern! Knitting this one with long sleeves.
CO 56 per pattern for the 3-6 month size, using US 5 needles and knit 5 rows. Switch to US 6 needles and knit 2 more rows.- Next time will stay with smaller needle for neck

Row 8 (WS): Knit across, placing markers 9-8-22-8-9
Row 9 (RS): Knit across, increasing at markers, using the following increase: Kfb, K1, SM, Kfb for first two and then Kfb, SM, K1, Kfb for next two markers.

Continue to knit and increase until stitch count is: 24-38-52-38-24 and depth of raglan is 4.25” from below the neckline ribbing.

Sleeves: Pick up 38 stitches for sleeves plus 4 at each underarm. Decrease 2 on next round by K1, K2tog, knit around, SSK, K1, leaving 40 stitches.

Decrease 2 stitches on 8th, 15th, 22nd and 30th rows….K1, K2 tog, knit to before marker SSK, K1. (32 stitches)

Knit 2 rows garter stitch and bind off using Russian bind off.

Button band. Start from below neck (he doesn’t like his top button fastening) Make one row button holes on 4th row.

Hand washed and dried flat overnight. This yarn is fabulously soft. Hope it wears well.

Next time I think I’ll knit K2,P2 neck rib and border.
