Sole knitted with 2 strands, body 1. Did not do heel decreases on row 25.
MEN’S TAB:
Make slipper according to instructions and cast off.
M1 = Pick up the bar that lies between stitches with the left needle from front to back and knit into the back of it.
psso = pass the slipped stitch over
With right side facing, attach yarn, pick up and knit all stitches between increase/decrease ridge on front of slipper + 1 stitch above each increase/decrease. (Number of stitches varies between sizes). On an extra wide fitting with 12 stitches in toe section, you would pick up 14. (12 + 2)
Work 3 rows stocking stitch
Next row: K4, M1, K6, M1, K4 (16 stitches)
Work 3 rows stocking stitch
Next row: K2, M1, K12, M1, K2 (18 stitches)
Next row: Purl
Next row: K1, S1, K1, psso, knit to last 3 stitches K2tog, K1(16 stitches)
Next row: Purl
Next row: K1, S1, K1, psso, knit to last 3 stitches K2tog, K1(14 stitches)
Next row: Purl
Cast off remaining stitches.
Sew sides of tab to corresponding stitches on slipper, finishing where top of tab begins to taper.
