I have an issue with this pattern… You have a lace repeat over 14 stitches. You increase one stitch at either end, but the lace pattern is only 12 rows, so when it comes time to do it all the second time you have not increased the proper number of stitches organically, so there’s a fudge on row 11 of the pattern at either end. Also, the center increase exists in the stockinette section, but not in the lace. It’s workable given the stretch of the lace in the patter as written, but the geometric offness would mean that infinite repeats of the lace would lead to awkward shaping.

The pattern is basically an Ishbel clone with a different lace pattern. OK, so this version is free, but if you’re going to invest the time, Ishbel is by far the better patten and well worth the modest cost. Ishbel works geometrically without fudging and it keeps the center increase, so you can in fact add as many repeats as pleases you.
