My gauge is different and I am adding a hood.
Mods:
Back:
- provisional cast on 73. Short row 1 markers are
- 14, pm, 45, pm, 14 4 st past last wrap each time.
- Back tag placed at 31,11,31
- Knit down 5 1/2 in
- Increase 10 times (total 95) (Not actually sure how I ended up with 95 instead of 93 but ya know whatever)
Left Front
- Pick up 18 st from provisional, add 1 at the armhole edge for total of 19
- purl 1 row as pattern states
- short row 1 - knit 3 and then wrap
- short rows 3, 5, 7 - knit 4 past last wrap, wrap
- row 4, 6, 8 purl all as pattern states
- knit 7 rows after short row 8
- Do neck increases as pattern states (24 after increases, 39 after cast-ons)
- knit 20 rows to reach 5.5 in from armhole as pattern states
- Do armhole increases as pattern states, but add 3 extra for a total of 10 increases (49 total)
Right Front
- Repeat the same as for left-front, except I moved all the increases to the WS row to match the other side
- Pick up 19 provisional st
- short row 1 - purl 3 and wrap
- short row 3, 5, 7 - purl 4 past last and wrap
- knit 7? 8? rows after row 8.
- I did M1Lp on Ws instead of right side so the rows would match up on either side.
- 20 st st rows
- armhole increases again on WS and up to 10 for 49 total stitches
I got myself in a weird spot by forcing it to match on all sides and had to break all the yarn and start a new ball.
Body
Purl all, adding 10 cast on for each armhole and join. * 213 total:
- 54,pm,105,pm,54
- knit all
- purl all
- decrease 8:
- 1 at 35 st in from edge for bust dart on each side
- 2 at armhole each side
- 2 in the back on either side of the middle 31 stitches
- knit st st for 4 rows
- decrease back again (2 st dec.)
- at 6 row down from the last armhole decrease, decrease bust dart and armhole again
- 2 more rows st st and decrease back (193 total st: 50,pm,33,27,33,50)

Almost finished! Everything’s knit and woven in; time to wash and block and then add the zipper

All done. The zipper feels a little heavy for the sweater, but it was really easy to knit in. Hopefully it grows on me, because I was hoping to like this more. It is the culmination of a long while of visualizing after recycling the yarn from Value Village.
