Pattern called for worsted but used this Aran yarn with smaller needles. Because I’m a petite, designer Bonne Marie Burns recommended I do the hip decreases every 12 rows instead of the 14 the pattern suggested. I also decreased length of bodice by 1/2 inch. Total length of sweater is 22 inches.

10/28/12 - finished knitting cardigan but have to purchase buttons and make loops for them. Will take pictures when all done.

I think this is a perfect fall weather cardigan. It reminded me of the color of autumn leaves. Enjoyed working with this yarn. I also decided that one button will suffice. I made a loop out of single crochet stitch.
