Notes

I followed the pattern the smallest size in a DK (instead of Aran) weight for my daughter’s 10th birthday. It fits her well.

I knit the garter rows with size 4 needles and the triangles and stockinette sections with size 5 needles. I knit the ribbed middle section separately on size 3 needles because I didn’t like how that section on my sweater stretched out under the weight of the peplum. The stockinette sections are knit with size 6 needles. Size 2 needles were used for the first 4 rows of the tubular cast-on for the armbands and waistband.

She had admired my Manon and asked me to make one without sleeves for her. She threw a hissy fit when I made sleeves anyway. We’ll see if she comes around. I bought her a striped t-shirt and sewed her a twirly skirt to match.
