I started out with the free Mini Rings pattern, but the pattern was too small for the color run of this yarn and the circle vest I was attempting to make, so I “upgraded” to the full Rings of Change pattern.

I added arm holes (50 foundation sc, 40 sc, 50 foundation sc) in row 27 to make this pattern into a circle vest. Hopefully this will fit my daughter.

I continued with the Rings of Change pattern until it called for the crocodile stitch. That would not work well with a fold-over collar, so I free-handed the last five rows.
